Pressure Cleaning in Affton, MO

On this project, I was contracted to pressure wash the driveway, sidewalks, front patio, and brighten the gutters on a standard lot size for the area. This was a straight-forward cleaning job for me. The owner had no idea when the concrete was cleaned last, if ever, and the gutters most definitely had never been cleaned. For the concrete, I chose to pre and post treat it, to yield the best results and really make it shine bright from the street. For the gutters, I had to give extra care because they had gutter guards on them, which presented a tricky surface to clean. Using my extension pole and soft bristle brush, I was easily able to get into all of the nooks. I treated the gutters with a strong cleaning solution, specifically designed for gutters, to help loosen the grime. Also, there was heavy oxidation on the bottom of the gutters and soffits that my solution would remove. The risk of using the chemical I chose for this job is that if you leave it on for too long, it can remove paint. By cleaning in smaller sections, pre-wetting, and not letting it sit for too long, I was able to deliver great results with no damage to the property. Although it may look like an easy process and job to perform, it can be easily messed up. After the job was complete, the customer was blown away with the results. Many of our customers have no idea the black grime or "tiger stripes" on gutters can be taken off until we prove it to them.

The key to great concrete cleaning results is using a surface cleaner. By using this equipment, we will avoid leaving streaks and lines caused by using a wand. Also, by taking our time and not moving too quickly, we leave a uniform-clean finish on the entire surface of the concrete.
