Pressure Washing in St. Louis, MO

I landed this job from my local contractor and handyman's Facebook page. A fellow realtor was looking to have his driveway pressure washed, sidewalks, stairs, and wooden deck cleaned. I messaged him as soon as I saw the post and offered what my services could do for him. After going over the scope of the job with him, I then sent him my quote promptly and he gladly accepted. We were able to schedule the job for 3 days after the bid was accepted.

Upon arriving at the job, I inspected the property for any previous damage or potential problem areas. The neighbor came out to talk to me about her concern with any chemicals getting on her vegetables that were in a garden box next to the sidewalk I was pressure cleaning. I ensured her I wouldn't spray my cleaning solution near the sidewalk adjacent to her plants. Also, I would be watering the plants before, during, and after work just to be extra cautious. Once all potential problems were addressed, I unwound my hose reels and began to pre-treat all of the surfaces I was going to be cleaning. After letting the chemical dwell for 15 minutes, I fired up the surface cleaner and began blasting the dirt and grime away with my surface cleaner. I carefully took my time on each pass and went as slowly as my machine needed me to. If I walked too fast, I could have risked the chance of leaving uneven cleaning lines in the concrete.

Two areas of the sidewalk were sunk in, causing dirty water to pool up in the sunk corners. I used a sludge sucker to push the dirty water away from the concrete to ensure it wouldn't dry and leave the newly cleaned concrete dirty again. After all the concrete was pressure washed, I followed up with my post-treatment to leave the concrete looking brand new.
